The focus will be on technologies for 2D/3D quality inspection and metrology as well as 3D environment perception, localization and mapping for autonomous machinery. Live demonstrations will include ICI for simultaneous 2D/3D inspection of moving objects, xposure:1M photometry for ultra-fast inline inspection, the portable PHOTODEX system for motion-robust surface inspection, and Robotic Inspection for the automatic planning of robotic inspection workflows. SLAM technologies for real-time 3D environment perception, localization and mapping complete the portfolio.
AIT combines advanced machine vision and 3D reconstruction with AI and machine learning to address key industrial challenges – from detecting microscopic defects at high production speeds and inspecting complex surfaces to automating quality control and enabling autonomous machines to reliably perceive their environment.

Another highlight will be the SCIENTIFIC VISION DAYS in Hall 8, Booth 8C50. AIT’s established scientific lecture series is an official part of the VISION Forum programme. Experts from industry and applied research will present current research results, emerging machine vision technologies and innovative applications shaping the next generation of industrial automation.
