Release from
The conference is dedicated to finding solutions to the key challenges of the circular economy in the building sector and brings together experts from research, business and politics. Keynotes, panel discussions and other interactive formats will shed light on current developments and future prospects.
The aim is to highlight ways in which the transformation of the construction sector can succeed – with concrete solutions, real projects and innovative approaches from practice. The CirCon 2026 thus offers an interdisciplinary framework to make this change tangible and implementable.
Markus Ray, Head of the Digital Resilient Cities Department at AIT: "The CirCon 2026 offers decision-makers from industry, construction and politics a unique platform to exchange views on the current status of the transition to a circular economy and to discuss key developments. We will present forward-looking materials, innovative construction methods and sustainable business models that are designed to actively drive change in the construction industry. The aim is to provide new impetus for a resource-efficient construction industry and to strengthen cooperation between science, industry and politics in the long term."
